Any of these figs worth getting? Personally I don't like too many of them but I did think about getting some for trade fodder. Found a huge stash of them at one of the dollar generals in my area. Which ones are the most popular?

These figures kill me because they are just VvV figures repackaged without weapons for $1 more. The figures are pretty cool (like they were the 1st time), but no weapons at a higher price just isn't worth it to me.

IMO they're all crap.. Can probably get the originals on ebay with weapons for less.

If they had weapons and were a dollar less (pretty much what the original VvV versions were), I'd say the only ones worth getting would be Tele-viper, Sand-Viper, and Night Creeper. But no weapons for a dollar more is just lame. The only Joe figure that has an excuse to not come with a weapon, is a vehicle driver. It's too bad, because I like the 25th/ARAH-styled art on the small packages.
Just wait awhile, a well-meaning relative who knows nothing about GI Joe will buy you some of these. It happened to me

Theres 8000 of them in the USA. The west coast doesn't have a single one though nor does the New England area. Its basically a general store with prices usually marked in increments of dollars. Its almost identical to Family Dollar.
Anyway the figures are a horrible biy for 3 bucks a pop. I think Hasbro would have sold a ton of these had they included accessories. Tele-Vipers and Ace's would have sold out for their equipment alone. |
