Sorry if you clicked on this thinking it was a Scarface custom because it's not.
I just got something in the mail that I wanted to share with everyone. It's a carded mini-me!... Well not really me, but of my avatar character anyways. For those that don't know me I chose my username as "Scoop" because I like to use characters who I can identify with and since I work in the television and film industry I figured he was the perfect choice. (I chose the character "Viewfinder" as my username on TFW2005 for the same reason since he is the leader of the Deception camera "Reflector") Ever since I joined this site I've always wanted to get a MOC Scoop figure. I had a loose played with figure when I was young, but someone stole it when my parents let the neighborhood kids into our apartment after I was hit by a car and couldn't go outside to play for awhile. A few years ago I purchased a loose figure off of ebay to replace the one I had as a kid, but I still wanted a carded one. Every so often I would search for one on ebay, but I would never find the version I wanted for a reasonable price, and if I did I would be out bid over the price I wanted to pay. As far as the card art is concerned, I only wanted the "normal" version without any added stickers offering free extras like combat pay, command rings, face camouflage, or micro figures. Those things always ruined the card art for me. I rather see the entire character art without a sticker or an extra added bonus covering it up. I did however enjoy getting those little added bonuses as a kid. Well the other day I placed a bid on a MOC Scoop figure on ebay and I won the auction. The card had some warping to it, and the bubble had a minor dent, but for $20.75 + $6.00 shipping I guess it wasn't too bad. It also had a yellow $3.99 price tag sticker on it which I have since removed. Here are some pics... These were the pics that the seller placed on ebay... Here is a pic I took after I placed it in one of those figure cases from Hasbro Toy Shop... If you can tell from the pic above I even went as far as to "re-adjust" the figure inside the bubble in order to get him facing straight forward. Please leave a comment below and let me know what you think.

Nice find Scoop, always nice to see people find that one thing they've been looking for.

Not a bad price for a carded figure. Scoop has always been a fav of mine. Great appearance in Marvel comics.
I have my eye on a carded Raptor for $40 in the local classifieds, it appears to have an unpunched peg tab. |

It's awesome when some of that youthful magic is recaptured!

Good luck with that carded Raptor Xerofall. Yeah it sure is Phweep, but now it's giving me the urge to start to collect them all MOC.
