Yeah Guys,
I thought I'd share a variation that I learned of a while back, for those of you that are interested. Well, first I'd like to note that the Slaughter's Marauders figures were made in Brazil. It took me a while to understand the accessory color variations from other countries, but what I've learned about Brazil is that most, if not all of their black weapons are more of a duller satan black, as opposed to a glossy black. That's the case being with the weapons that I'm showing in this posting. My camera is not the greatest, so hopefully you can see it, but that's not the only difference. In the pictures below the top weapons are the regular US Verson 1 Low-Light & Footloose and the bottom are the Slaughter's Marauders weapons. 1.) Low-Light//// You will notice that the handle is thicker on the Slaughter's Marauders Sniper Rifle. 2.) Low-Light//// You will notice that the leg tips on the bi-pod are thicker and more rounded. 3.) Low-Light//// It's kind of hard to see, but the Slaughter's Marauders uzi has a thicker ball type tip on it, as opposed to the more detailed telescoping tip on the V1 Low-Light. 1.) Footloose//// You will notice that the handle is more rounded on the Slaughter's Marauders rifle. 2.) Footloose//// As far as I can see, the bazooka is just a duller satan black that matches the rifle, I don't see any molding differences. Thanks, Everett

That is some pretty good info to know. Looks like I'll have to track down the correct rile and bi-pod for my SM Low-Light. Is there any variations with the backpacks ?

Yup.
For the record, that M-16 is the one Marujo (TF Shipwreck) should have as well, and the Lowlight rifle is the one that should come with Relampago (PP Ripcord).

You are correct. I was looking at those two figures in my collection when I started putting two and two together as far as these variations. What really made it clear was when I looked at the back of the Slaughter's Marauders packaging and noticed that they were made in Brazil. As far as the backpacks, I can't really tell a big difference, other than the duller satan black color. I only have a couple of Slaughter's Marauders Footloose backpacks, so I don't have enough to make a solid conclusion. Thanks, Everett

You're welcome. You seem alot like me, I'm more of a loose figure collector, I only get something sealed when it's something that I really like, but I still like to have my figures correct, as if they came right out of the package. For example, it would really be a let down to buy an Argen 7 Cobra Mortal, only to find that someone put a crossbow & Uzi from one of the Comic Packs with it, so I do think things like this are important, in my opinion. Thanks, Everett

Totally with you guys. That sort of thing bothers me too!
Sort of on the subject (of Brazilian weapons, anyway) - anyone have a mint Gatilho rifle w/no wear on the handle? Really need one of these.
