I found this web page saying that Hasbro had sent out press images of G.I. Joe 80's Vintage, 12 Inch 1960's Action Figures & 80's Artwork Images.
Hasbro Official Press Release G.I. Joe 80′s Vintage, 12 Inch 1960′s Action Figures & 80′s Artwork Images « Toy Hype USA The question is why?........I seriously doubt anything would come of this anyway, otherwise I assume Hasbro would have said something. |

Did anyone bother reading the first paragraph?
"Update 3/28 9:58 pm EST: We had heard back from Hasbro and it turns out these pictures are for reference only for movie coverage. However, figures like Lady Jay appear to be slightly retooled compared to the vintage figure. So you can see why we were slightly confused about these pictures."

I read it, just weird they would use those old guys when talking about the movie, especially since most of those have Retaliation counterparts. I was also being sarcastic.

I would very much welcome a commemorative series. Who wouldn't want a minty white Storm Shadow?

I'd buy them all. But I'd hope that they would have the original artwork, not the 25th photoshop garbage.
