Glad you asked! Believe it or not, after 23 years, three of the six backpacks are still functional! Check out the 3DJoes pages for Dial-Tone, Law, and Tunnel Rat to hear the magic of 1990 toy technology.

That's awesome! Those are the three that I did not have! Never heard those guy's sound FX before. I bet they are going to sound completely and totally unique and different from all the other Sonic Fighters.....

Ahhh, late 80's early 90's technology. I remember my dad had a keychain with those exact same sounds.

My brother and I were allowed to get all six of them on a camping trip to washington (so much cheaper in the US than canada!). I'm sure our parents regretted that choice. Funny thing is, a couple of them still work after all these years! I still think the sound effects couldn't get much better today.

Pretty wretched. The figures themselves were awesome. Especially the sonic lamprey.

LOL. thats awesome...I have a few of those and most of them still work as well. Its funny that stuff like that is still going and a lot of the newer toys die out within a year. The electronic guns the first series of the Hall of Fame 12" figures came with still work to!

Yeah I bought a large lot with multiples of each and not one has dead battery. Must be because the backpacks looked rubbish no one played with them. Same for the talking commanders.
Yeah I remember the key chains from cheap markets or seaside resorts. You could also buy a version for your dashboard of your car, not sure why you'd want that. |

I'm reminded of the scene in Dumb and Dumber; "Wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?"
