I'm in the same position. When they were out I loved legos. Legos + GI Joe it's a perfect combination. I wish they'd bring them back. It's the kind of GI Joe product that's definitely intended for kids and not collectors. I can't imagine any adult collector who would've enjoyed them. I thought they were fun, the BTR Blowtorch was my favorite.

No way, Manimals are way worse. At least the BTR sets came with a decent joe figure. Manimals are probably #1 on the sh*$ list.

I say no to BTR. But if they want to make G.I.Joe legos based on the classic line and not the movie I would be into them.

I love Legos, so that probably makes me a bit biased...
I loved BTR. It was a great concept, but the execution could have been improved. The building "studs" on the figures arms and legs were absurd. If they had given us really great characters with good molds and accesories, I think people could have really enjoyed them more. We did get one great character: Hollow Point, a Marine Sniper - one of the few Marines on the whole Joe Team. I think it was a really, really great idea. And if they could make a few revisions, it could really be an amazing way to play G.I. Joe. I thought everyone built forts and stuff for Joe out of Legos? This was just the next step... really awesome concept. I think it was Tonka who put BTR out. Tonka is owned by Hasbro, but it's still interesting to me that Hasbro used their subsidiary.

I think they were crap. I mean just make GIJoe legos. I just wish the only new character Hollow Point would get incorporated into the fold.

I agree with Loose Cannon-- just make GI Joe LEGO's; like the Batman line that's out there. Complete with goofy little LEGO Joes and everything.
I think the BTR concept would've worked for stationary playsets, but it wasn't a good idea for mobile vehicles.

I like the BTR sets because I like to put stuff together like a puzzle. It is interesting IMO to see how they could make original ARAH vehicles to look like legos. I have all of them except for the Night Prowler. Anyone got one of those to sell?
