Yeah, those are my favorites. They really look great and obviously those figures never came that way. But if they did, they would probably look just like that.

Yeah, the Zartan art was shown on the backs of the carded figures, and the hooded CC was shown in the pamphlets that came with the vehicles. Never thought about them until I saw the cards on Beggers Canyon and the carded figures you did and how great they would have been.
Nothing, nothing beats the vintage art! |

Here's my Firefly:
I was seriously considering buying a MOC '84 FF when I ran across this, and I'm so glad I just did this instead, because it looks great and I'm only out about $15!

That would be cool, but possibly difficult.
There needs to be a precedent for the art, I believe. I think Hooded CC and Zartan both were released carded by Takara, at some point, so the card art existed. I put in a request for a silver pads Grand Slam card kit based on the JUMP box packaging, but it doesn't sound entirely likely they can do it. But we'll see. |

I wonder if you'd have better luck if you sent a design for them to print? I wonder how open they'd be to try that? They could really expand their customer base.

Send them an email. They are very customer friendly. I wouldn't be surprised if they found a way to make it happen. If it would sell, I'd say they would. They did mention that they were planning to do a couple of '87 cards, a few custom cards and fan favorites.
