I have a Snowcat that used to be my kid brother's ,it's in pretty good condition considering the vehicle is white ,it has no yellowing it ,it's missing a few parts (2 X missile skis, steering wheel, windscreen wiper, one orange missile)it's a bit dirty and a few of the stickers are looking a little worse for wear ?
What do you think is it worth restoring and to invest in parts ,and what tips to do you have for cleaning up vehicles ,will water destroy the stickers if i wash it ? thanks |

I just bought 3 Snowcats off ebay for $12. I is nearly complete--just needs 1 new ski, the other two are very incomplete, I'll probably end up with 1 full Snowcat between them, after I buy missing parts. I found a lot of the parts I need--missiles, wheels, skis for only $1 a piece on ebay. You can get new stickers at cobrastickers.com for $8. I'm going to clean mine up and with effort try to end up with at least two complete Snowcats, maybe three if I can get the other pieces. Yours sounds definitely worth making the effort, new stickers and a handfull of pieces will be alot less that you will get a new one for.

Probably best to go with repro stickers. Water is rough on the old stickers.
Most parts are easy to get. Guys here can most likely help. Good luck on the wiper though. I still need a couple of those. Let me know if you find extras.

What I use to clean vehicles and figures, that doesn't harm them:
Warm water, toothpaste and a toothbrush. It gets into the small places, isn't abrasive, and gets the white, bright white. |
