To me, all 3 really don't quite "fit in" with the rest of the Joes. However, they are part of my collection and I did find a way to incorporate them in a feasible way in my displays:
Fridge - loading & unloading supplies from the Tomahawk on the Flagg Super Trooper - another part of my "catch-all" weapon range for figures and accessories I didn't really find another place for, including the LAW, PAC-RATs, Sci-Fi, Fast-Draw, etc Rapid Fire - he is actually the instructor of the catch-all range, which gives him somewhat of a reason to be sporting blinding green neon - safety first! |

I made a custom Rapid Fire based on his 12 inch version. As a kid, I had all 3 of those guys and loved them all. Wish I still had a mint SuperTrooper right now.

Often, I evaluate figures/characters based on their file cards, rather than their appearance.
Fridge is a problem. I use him as a Strength Coach in the Joes' weight room. So he stays at HQ with most of Ninja Force to help the Joes with physical training. Super Trooper and Rapid Fire, however, according to their filecards, are pretty well qualified combat officers. It's fun for me to simply update them as custom, modern figures. Their qualifications are too good to pass up.

They are all part of my Joeverse. I have fellow tanker, gdztoyz's custom Super Trooper figure in my collection. He is a perfect update to the character.
As for Rapid Fire, mine is based more on his Hall of Fame figure from the 12 inch line. Basicly he is a ROC Pit Trooper with riot gear. As for Fridge, I consider him a non-combatant PT instructor for the Joes.

Same like everyone else. I had customs made. 12 in Rapid Fire is a better template. MAJ. Rapid-Fire is the in charge of the Mechanized Wheeled Infantry. Super Trooper works with Gen Rey and my updated Special weapons team BF2000 style Experimental weapons. Fridge is a vehicle gunner/mechanic.

Broken Arrow has/had a really great ME version of the Fridge. While he is a silly addition to GI Joe, the character is part of the 80s. I agree, he is more of an "on-base" character ... but so was Sgt Slaughter suppose to be (and essentially was in the comics). In fact, even Beachhead was often used an instructor for greenshirts.

Rapid Fire and Super Trooper are the CO and XO of one of my direct action teams. Claymore and Falcon head up the other.
