I hope I don't get in trouble for asking on a question on pricing. I know some sites frown on it. How much does an almost complete Terror Drome usually go for? I'm not for sure what it has missing as I haven't yet got a chance to go look at it. He says it is almost complete with the Firebat and pilot and most parts. I don't have much money so I am picky with what I buy. I know ebay's prices are overinflated. He also has a Killer Whale that is nearly complete.
Can someone help me out? Thanks. |

I don't think there's an official price guide for Joe stuff.
Take alook at ebay prices and set a range from "missing alot" to "complete" and figure out what you're willing to spend within that range. Then when you see it, find out where it fits in the "missing alot" to "complete" category and what the guy is charging for it. Prices may be over inflated, but EBay is about the only place you'll be able to find a comparasion.

Don't be surprised that the cost of shipping will be pretty high. I wish I could speak to how much a terrordrome complete costs only because I bought mine incomplete and had to buy parts to finish it. For my incomplete, I paid (with shipping) about 50 dollars. Be aware though that trying to complete yours will cost quite a bit - depending on what parts are missing. Notoriously hard to find are the parts to the large upper turret. Please factor that into your costs if you are trying to complete it. Same goes for the whale - some parts are easy to find and cheap, and others are much harder to find and very expensive. My whale was about 20 bucks shipped, but I spent at least that much on parts and still haven't completed it! Hope this helps.

between $300 and $400 you should ask how many parts have bloken clips and such. also if both front gun turrets are broken {which most are} i would pass on the buy

Luckily this is a local sale so this will save me some money. Shipping is a killer on large items. I am going to try to go check it out withing the next few days and see what may be missing. I know the parts can really add up especially if you buy them off ebay. I am looking into buying a STUN, Killer Whale, Skystiker, and the Terror drome with the Fang.

Here is a pic. It looks pretty good but is hard to tell what may be missing such as the gas nozzles.

That may be alittle high. I'd say $100-$140 for the Drome and depending on the condition of the vertical vanes on the WHALE anywhere from $35-100.

I wish there was a price guide like they have for comics or Star Wars. But this would be only relative since they are only worth what someone would pay. I have bought stuff for dirt cheap and sold stuff for dirt cheap.

I tend to use G.I. Joe Price Guide 3 3/4" to price stuff. its pretty close in price with a few exceptions.
