3DJoes has a Griffin Bacal Inc. VHS Master for their G. I. Joe campaign. Carson has been uploading a ton of digitized videos to the 3DJoes YouTube channel today. The ads cover toys and comics from 1982 to 1991.
I forgot that the Super Trooper commercial was live action like the later 1990's commercials. Thank you Carson! |

Over 40 new TV commercial masters from 1982-1991 are available at YouTube.com/3DJoes !!!
https://www.youtube.com/c/3djoes/videos Griffin Bacal Inc. was a global advertising agency founded in 1978 by Tom Griffin and Joe Bacal. Hasbro partnered with Griffin Bacal to create advertising campaigns for G.I.Joe: A Real American Hero, Transformers, and more. These commercial masters were digitized from two Griffin Bacal Inc. VHS masters. They are also embedded on the appropriate pages on 3DJoes. They are incredible quality. Enjoy! ![]() Last edited by 3DJoes; 02-28-2021 at 04:39 PM.. |

3DJoes is in high gear, so we thought it might be a good idea to share our progress on a weekly basis.
-We digitized and shared 39 TV commercial masters from Griffen Bacal VHS cassettes! View them all here: https://www.youtube.com/c/3djoes/vid...ow=grid -We upgraded the studio, adding a NEW 48” tabletop for spins. This will make the large format items look even better! -We spun the 1993 Street Fighter II figures, vehicles, and playsets all together (seen here). All SF2 pages have these spins at the bottom of the page. Eventually we will build overview pages for each sub-line with these types of giant setups. -We added a 1987 Blocker variant: earlier versions of Blocker featured a visor and a red left wrist. Later versions of Blocker removed the visor and the red paint application. -We completed scanning EVERY MOC cardback from 1982-1994. These will be added to the figure pages and the upcoming "Collecting the Art of G.I.Joe" Omnibus Hardcover. -We completed transcription of the accessories text (Includes: ...) and added that text to each 1982-1994 figure page. -We completed the "3DJoes Figure Index" spreadsheet and started developing the "3DJoes Vehicle Index" spreadsheet. These will serve as heatmaps, guiding our efforts to update the figure and vehicle pages going forward. If you are enjoying the site, we'd ask you to help support its continued development with a poster purchase, or a donation! Thank you all for the continued support and encouragement. https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted...=622GZYQCZYD8S ![]() |
