I received a bunch of unused stickers sheets recently and I am wondering which is the best way to store them.
If you have any ideas or good experiences with that, may you share them with us? Thanx

I don't think I want to sell them to be honest.
I just want to be able to keep them in the best condition possible and be able to look at them from time to time. I don't plan on using them because The stickers to me mess up the toy more than make it look good over time, although there is nothing like a freshly stickered toy.

Dragonfly TTBP Stun Devilfish Triple T Mamba Maggot Defiant BF2000 Eliminator Battlefield robot devastator Battlefield robot hovercraft Battlefield robot radar rat Battlefield robot tri-blaster Raider Equalizer and most likely will get more. So I need to find something that is suitable to house them all. I was thinking of a phot album or a sticker book but then I was told they have sticky stuff on them to hold the pictures in and I didn't want that.

Ultra-Pro makes all sorts of plastic card holders and sleeves which can be stored in binders. I've been using them for years. I use the 9 pocket pages for sports and non-sports cards, the 4 pocket pages for G.I. Joe file cards, and the 8 x 10 single pages for full card backs.
I'm sure you could find something that fits your needs for the sticker sheets. Here is a link to their page... UltraPro By the way if you ever come across a sticker sheet for the H.A.V.O.C. please let me know if you are willing to part with it.

If you don't want to apply or sell them, and just plan to keep them to look at, why not laminate them on 8.5" x 11" sheets and catalogue them in a notebook?

Acid free comic backing and acid Free comic bag.
For larger sticker sheets, use vinyl cloth covers and replace them every other month. Alternatively you can cut open several comic book bags and tape them together. You can also use a few other methods, but whatever you choose, I recommend always having the storage method contain some sort of acid free or acid eliminating material, to preserve color. Having a backing will also prevent the sheet from bending and the stickers coming loose.

Put each sheet in between 2 pieces of wax paper or in a folded piece of wax paper. Then press them flat inside a stack of books.
Also, keep them stored in wax paper and pressed in a heavy book too. . Last edited by spiderpumpkin; 09-09-2012 at 01:37 PM.. |
