Always loved the Maggot, but I also have love for the Detonator. Even if it had those silly big ass foam missles, you could fit shitloads of Cobras on it. I sold mine a few years ago and regret it ever since...

1. Night Force Patriot Grizzly - Seriously, the best "tank" the Joes have ever had. It's large, and the cannon really shoots and it's just awesome. The ONLY drawback is that the treads don't really work, but I can get over that. It's pretty durable, especially compared to the Mauler and some other earlier tanks. It's just looks awesome, like a suped-up, turbo version of an Abrams Tank.
2. Regular/Desert Patriot Grizzly - Obviously all that's said above applies here, but let's face it, the paint really set the Night Force version apart. The desert version was good, but not as cool as the green camo. 3. Equalizer - possibly the coolest tank designs ever made, but not beating out the Patriot Grizzly for a few reasons: A. Size - it's a little small, B. a bit fragile - like the Mauler that it's based on, it's got parts that are easily lost, and it just isn't that durable. However, the name alone is one of the coolest vehicle names in the entire Joeverse. 4. 1998 TRU Camo Mobat - Classic, durable, fun, real treads, realistic looking... seriously, the Mobat IS G.I. Joe the way the Sky Striker and the VAMP ARE G.I. Joe. And the 1998 camp update made a timeless classic pop like new. 5. Classic Green Mobat - It's still a great Tank and it holds it's own against any Tank Hasbro has ever made. Honorable mention: Warthog - It's durable, fun, it doubles as a troop transport and it's amphibious. It's a great vehicle, but it's lack of large machine guns or cannons makes it a little less practical as an armor vehicle. Obviously those huge missle would pack a punch, but there's only 2 of them and then it's pretty much a fancy APC. It's a great vehicle, but it's at the bottom of my list... it' really more of an Marine/Amphibious Infantry Transport, like a Bradly Fighting Vehicle for Over the Beach Operations, than a Tank. I would have really liked to say the Mauler, but it's really not as cool as the Equalizer, and it always seemed undersized and fragile. The Wolverine was pretty cool. The Thunderclap and the Rolling Thunder were also AWESOME, however, I catagorize them as "Artillery" (albeit 'self propelled') rather than Armor. I also want to mention the Mean Dog and the Raider. They're a little too "Different/Unique" to be termed "Armor" for me, but they're great, versitle, and fun vehicles that could easily fit that catagory and be tasked for Armor/Cav missions. For Cobra it's easy: The new HISS Tank (Black) The new HISS Tank (Brown) The new HISS Tank (Crimson) The upcomming HISS Tank (Retaliation/Blue) Tie: The HISS II (either version) - because it doubles as a troop transport, and The Rage/Fury (Any Version) - that's just a great tank with a lot of cool features. I would also like to mention the Earthquake. It was huge and awesome, though the colors were crazy and I'm not quite sure it really qualifies as armor in the classical sense.
