I would buy one if the big H released one. We need some big vehicles. Enough of these small ones.

The Mamba is one of those vehicles (in my opinion) that Hasbro put out in the late 80's that were 1/2 cool and 1/2 ridiculous (i.e Hammerhead, STUN ), I think the overall shape, color is cool; I just think the 2 side pods as too much. It makes it look too bulky. Gyro-Viper on the other hand is a really cool sculpted figure. Maybe if Hasbro re-releases it I'll pick it up. Before I didn't want the Conquest X-30 but after seeing it at Target, now I want one! G.I. Joe tends to do that to me.

I like the Mamba. Already got a vintage one, but I would buy a few if they re did them.

Mamba was a tight squeeze for RAH figures, don't think modern figures wouldn't fit at all, not even with retooling.

yeah i get the two engines, for me its the 2 rotors intersecting each other at the angle they do,seems like they would cause a problem. Just seems odd to me IMO.

Yeah but having the two rotor stacked on top of the other doesn't look as cool for a Cobra chopper.

true. don't get me wrong I really like the mamba and it does look cool, I just think i'd prefer it with a single rotor, seems more... i want to say realistic but this is G.I. JOE.

you just have to time it like a car engine so they don't hit each other and it removes a need to a rear prop to balance out the torque from having one prop

when it comes to the rotar issue it is actually based on a real design that was very promising it just proved too expensive to make.
