I remember those in TRU I bought I set. I wish i would have bought more. I liked the repainted bad guys. I still have all of them except for the motor viper one which broke. I think it would be cool if they could redo this set in ME style.

I hear you, dozens of them sitting on the bottom shelf of Osco Drugs for years. D'oh.

I had a set, but all the thumbs broke...Except for the Secto Viper mold, which recently went to a home where he'll be better appreciated. The others were all turned to custom fodder. The heads are great as customs of new characters.

He put up the UK Immortal too, that's pretty rare if its the real deal
1991 CRIMSON GUARD IMMORTAL G.I. Joe EUROPE & UK only one! | eBay I believe this is the fifth CGI UK that he's selling. For a figure that rare, I don't believe in it. Also, spiderpumpkin has a real one and according to him there's a difference in color. I wouldn't pay to much for it. |

He had an ARMY??!?! How many??
I love the American CGI, its one of my favorites. The UK one is probably one of two foreign items I actually like and might pick up one day. The other being a PP Swampfire. Not to derail the thread - Yeah Bronze Bombers, cool figures etc etc etc. Olmec - the production company - has a VERY interesting story to it. Run some google searches if you are curious. |

I have a bunch of the repainted bronze bomber vipers. And the repaint Darklon. I too wish I had bought tons when they were at TRU, but not much I can do about it now.

I had about 6 sets of these because I considered them joe since they use joe molds (along with street fighter and mortal kombat figures)
They were very reasonably priced at 15$, which for a box of 12 was an awesome deal. The strato viper one was my favorite. The way the good guys eyes were painted, some looked crazy or strung up on something! They were mostly lost with my original collection, although I still have a number of weapons for them and somewhere I have the box they came in |

Has anyone bought one of these from the China ebay seller since 2010 when he startd selling them.
Here's a link to the discussion of these Chinese Euro CGIs over at yojoe. http://forums.yojoe.com/internationa...l-variant.html Here's a few pictures of the Euro CGI I bought from masteratarms2ndclass of gijoehq.com. I bought it in December 2008 when he was selling his army of these. XL XL XL XL XL XL Yeah the ones China Figs sells are... debatable. On one hand... it isn't out of the realm of possibility they are fake. That's a topic that I hope to cover on a future episode of our podcast when we talk about things like "Midnight Chinese" which we know now is a total myth. Faking isn't impossible... but it isn't easy either. BUT I don't think it is out of the realm of possibility that they are preproduction versions or unreleased LATER versions of the actual one. That could explain the colour differences. But again... itz one of those things that sets off red flags but also a ton of hypothesis-fueled debates.
