I finished this one a couple of months ago, and have been meaning to share pics with everyone for their enjoyment. This was the original toy I had since I was a kid that was sitting in my parents attic for many years collecting a lot of dust. (Except the 25th Strato Viper in some of the pics of course) So, after a good cleaning, and then replacing all of the labels with new ones from Cobra Stickers, here we have a mint Cobra Night Raven once again!!!!

OUt of curiosity, what did you use to clean her? I've got a LOT of older toys with a LOT of older dust on them, and sooner or later, I want to get around to cleaning them.

Havok, your Raven looks great! I need to do this to mine did you use baby oil like Tankster mentioned? The black really shines good on her. I need to clean up my vehicles.

Don't ever use Baby Oil to make your vehicles shine. You can use a very, very sparing amount to get parts that clip together loosened if they don't come apart easily enough. But, only as a last resort. Baby Oil is a pain to clean off, as I have tried it on certain vehicles. The Night Raven for example is put together mostly with screws on the underside. For the nice shine I lightly applied ArmorAll on a terry cloth and let it dry before applying new stickers. This was of course after removing the old stickers with paint thinner. Goo Be Gone can be used also. It's a lot of fun restoring old toys to their former glory, and getting them in the condition they were in when we were kids.

Damn that looks good, she is one beautiful bird! That comment can apply to the Night Raven and the post right above mine. lol
I wanted a Night Raven since I was a kid and it took damn near forever to get one, finally got one last summer and it's become my all time favorite out of all the Joe or Cobra vehicles. It looks fantastic all shiny like that, might have to apply a little armor all to mine next time I get it down for a dusting.
