I thought I'd just share this, I've been woking on the Drone of my Hurricane as it has a badly yellowed top section. I tried using peroxide and it did nothing even after a week so as a last resort I'm using T-Cut scratch remover paste. So far it seems to be working pretty well! I'm going to try speeding the process up with a Dremel fitted with a polishing tip. As the scratch remover paste just takes a tiny layer off you don't even notice.

Why don't you use the Retro-brite recipe? Everyone swears buy it for returning the original color back..

I've been using bleach. I usually let it soak for a couple of days. I did a test and let a couple vehicle soak for two weeks. No damage and it came out white and clean. But don't do that with figures though. It upsets them.

Did you use the correct peroxide?? It has to be the extra strength peroxide people use to dye hair.

Ive use the 3% peroxide from Walmart and it work. It just takes longer, but if you get the one for hair dye, its 30% peroxide it works alot faster.

I have a Night Raven coming which is listed as having a yellowed bottom, just looks a lighter shade of gray compared to the other underside hatches. It's nothing to get bothered over, but how would one restore yellowing on something not originally white?
