Location plays a lot in the quest I think. In the metropolitan areas, good lots are gone in minutes. In the hinterlands, people don?t want to drive from metro area to get smaller lots I think. It?s crap shot and I?m not in a rush. I like the slow and low of CL and GW. I have a relatively small collection. Not complete by any measure. But I have more figures and vehicles than I did as a kid. I really try to stay in the 82-86/87 time frame. That stuff is not rare but plentiful. Still lots of it in people?s attics and basements. The guy who sold it to me was like 60+ and said it was his kid?s toys who is now 40. The kid already had taken what he wanted from it. I think they thought the broken figures were beyond repair cause I don?t know why they left some good ones but took others. I offered to pay more because you always know someone emailing after me might offered more than the asking. Guy said $85 was good. I gave him $90 cause I didn?t have smaller bills. Absolutely lots of false alarms. I have had an alert on CL for ?GI joe? or ?g.i. Joe? in the title or description for about 5-6 years now. I probably get one purchase every 18 months or so. A lot of crap. A lot of people looking to buy your stuff. But when the deals are good they are real good. About 5 years ago I bought about 12 carded figures on CL for $75. All 90-92. I have gotten some great bags of figures as well over the years. But there are long periods of nothingness and near misses.

I have a ton of stuff that I have no idea what it is. I?ll have do some searching and then ask for help on the Tank for the stuff I can?t figure out myself. I really only know vintage GI Joe and vintage Star Wars. There were three MASK helmets in there. A He-Man vehicle and some He-Man weapons. I figured some of the chromed and gold weapons are TF.

I got a Havoc off Mercari for $25 with free ship because it was listed as an "optical tracker vehicle". It had everything except one missile and Cross Country. It should be here in the next couple of days.
