More recent acquisitions: I can't be the only one getting great vintage items and deals(I only paid $20 to $25 for each figure, except Gnawgahyde which cost me $35 and the Bridgelayer which was $65)! I want some pictures!

It's been 3-4 weeks since I got any ARAH items. Going through my list to determine what else I want.
That Bridgelayer looks great! I really want a Nitro Viper - nice find. Have you given any though into acquiring the Detonator? |

The Bridgelayer is in great shape(a little lopsided, and a bit of a stress mark on one of the bridge's ball joints, but otherwise clean), and had the Blueprints and file card as well. They only wanted $80 with best offer, so I low balled at $60 and negotiated to $65. I couldn't believe my luck on the Nitro Viper for $25. The Detonator isn't the best, rather meh, but I will probably have to have it eventually. Problem is, it's very expensive for a complete one it seems, and I'd rather spend the $150-$250 on other items first.

First you have to take some that aren't blurry!

I eventually acquired a second Nitro Viper through a trade, and didn't need the dumb vehicle to get that one. I sold the tank along with most of my vehicle collection in the early 2000s. That's one I don't miss. It was pretty weak. Last edited by Josh Z; 02-04-2021 at 06:24 PM.. |

I used to have a Detonator. When I was in college in the early 90s, the nearest Toys R Us was a long train ride from campus followed by about a mile walk to the store. I would trek out there periodically on G.I. Joe hunts, which was totally not cool for a college kid to do at the time. The Detonator was a lame vehicle, but I needed that Nitro Viper figure. I eventually acquired a second Nitro Viper through a trade, and didn't need the dumb vehicle to get that one. I sold the tank along with most of my vehicle collection in the early 2000s. That's one I don't miss. It was pretty weak. I go back and forth on acquiring a Detonator and the Blockbuster. To me they are the two big vehicles from the Battle Corps era - which I collected heavily since I was the right age demographic during the 90s Joe run. |

I had a Blockbuster too. As well as the Shark 9000. It's possible that the boat may still be in my storage unit. I can't remember if I pulled that out when I was selling all the other vehicles. I need to find time to clean that out eventually. |

What were your thoughts on the Blockbuster? I acquired a Sharc 9000 in the Mid 00s during one of my ARAH collecting phases but sold it off 10 or so years ago. I really like the design and have thought about re-acquiring one but the bright pink missiles always make me hesitate from pulling the trigger.
