That is great. Back in the early 2010?s, I restored an APC. They look so good from the outside. I liked it so much I restored one for my son who was like 4 at the time. Now everytime I see his, I?m like ?you still got the steering wheel? Seatbelts unbroken??
Such a great vehicle and I think the play value is underrated. |

I parted ways back in 2020 with my MOC Takara Tomy Snake Eyes v2. Got a good price for him and was blessed to find another for a reasonable price last month. And sent him along with a 1985 Hasbro Triple Win, peach file card MOC Snake Eyes to get graded. Crossing fingers for high grade.

Man! You have to go to JoeFest sometime if you live pretty close to it! It is the big one!
I think I'll get a chance to say hi to Larry Hama, Carson from 3DJoes, Chris from the Full Force Podcast (if he's going?), Brian from Codename: Iowa and the people from Joe Declassified. |

At first I thought it was an actual original 1985 Keel Haul silver handgun with some wear, but when I did a drop test it "clinked".
I've never seen anything like this outside of someone making DUKE wax casts for trophies/awards back in the 90s. Can anyone shed any light on this or did I just come across someone's attempt to make a Keel Haul gun out of metal with some gray paint applied? Has anyone else seen anything like this before? It just blew my mind. I have attached pics.

i really dont know if these drop and float tests are really significant. the only way to really know is if it's been yours. the stress of trying to figure this out isnt worth it.
i have an ig88 rifle from vintage star wars. it passes and fails all the tests; but i ended up with it when i was very young - no way a 7 year old in 1990 could get a bootleg rifle from some other kid's toys. yeah it's probably just a one off of some kid experimenting with his weapons. |

I bring up the drop test for this item, because the last thing I expected was a "CLINK!" I've performed lost-wax casting in art classes, and never expected someone to perform this method with a tiny accessory made in 1985. In 1990 there were TONS of "bootleg" accessories out there from Star Wars and MOTU He-man, many of these were mass-produced in places like Argentina and even Poland. I remember coming across them at the Columbus Flea Market in NJ. There were even chromed Transformer accessories of dubious origin that had yellow plastic underneath. I don't recall seeing any GI JOE repros until Ebay in 2000 when someone was making Snow Serpent accessories with an injection mold press at home until he got CnD's by Hasbro. Just thought it was interesting, really curious who made this and when. Keel Haul a frustrating mail-in figure because you had no control over his "NO-GUN VERSION", and unless you silver spray painted an 86 HAWK gun, it was an extremely rare accessory for decades.

Hi everyone! I recently decided to commit to collecting the original line. They were quite before my time but growing up I've been obsessed with them. After more than a decade I've decided to take the plunge and picked up two of my grails to start off my collection!
