I love the 93 Hawk. I picked one up about a year ago. One of my favorites. Mine actually is from the convention though.

It is a really cool figure. Love the mold and figure design, the original 1991 version is awesome but the kid in me loves the brighter colors of the 93 version as well.

I no longer have the battery covers, so I'm unable to test. One set looks good, no corrosion on the terminals, the other's are corroded, but the terminals are held on the boards by pressure, not solder, so they're swappable. I'll send both your way on my next weekend. Quote:
Lastly, not much of a haul, but IYKYK. Now to score the figure...:

Alright man, dug out two shells, one 82, and one 82/83 (there are many differences, but the innards *should* be universal.)
I no longer have the battery covers, so I'm unable to test. One set looks good, no corrosion on the terminals, the other's are corroded, but the terminals are held on the boards by pressure, not solder, so they're swappable. I'll send both your way on my next weekend. I don't remember ever seeing the Deep-six, but I'm fairly certain he used to carry the Sonic Hawk. Lastly, not much of a haul, but IYKYK. Now to score the figure...: That being said, here?s some more pickups! Duke is a little faded, but I’m decent condition. The rest are minty, including the Spirit. Nice! Those look great, especially the numbers on The Fridge.

Yeah they are always faded or scratched. He also had the GI Joe on the belt buckle, which is most often rubbed off from play wear. The Spirit was a nice blue and looked great so I couldn?t pass him up. The Night Viper and Big Boa were cheap.

How can you confirm it's a real one? Not casting aspersions upon your purchase but I'd lack confidence in my ability to identify it well enough to pull the trigger on a purchase like that (so to speak).
