Thank you! G.I. Joe was my main toy back in my youth, and it's really brought out the nostalgia. My guest room/mancave is filling up though. I need another bookshelf.

This week in pickups! Getting great deals on stuff. Had the Moray when I was young, and found a complete one(even had the lens!) for $140. '86 Carded complete! I had Maverick, so needed the Vector to go with him...surprising how rare a complete one is on eBay. And the Steel Brigade was only $75. It is a v1b I believe?

Nice snag on the Steel Brigade! I always loved that figure and the file card as a kid. I think yours is the v1E based on the waist and thighs. The BATs is always a favorite as well and that one looks to be in great shape. Also, congrats on the Moray...easily one of my top 5 vehicles in the RAH line.
Not much new on my end although I finally got a new barrel for my Slugger - the original apparently was cracked and reglued. The pictures weren't especially obvious and the seller neglected to mention it. |

I wouldn’t be able to collect with these prices. Luckily I finished the 82-94 run about 5 years ago otherwise it never would’ve happened for me. It blows my mind how much things have skyrocketed in such a short time. |

https://www.3djoes.com/steel-brigade.html Version 1E is no longer recognized as a legitimate variant. It is believed to have been a kitbash made from parts of other Steel Brigade figures so that certain dealers could claim to have an exclusive. Version 1D is the most common Steel Brigade, still easily found on eBay. 1A is the hardest to find these days. |

I can't see Goldchains' pics. The links appear to be dead right now. That said, 3DJoes has the best comparison of Steel Brigade versions:

This site can’t provide a secure connection i.ibb.co sent an invalid response. Try running Windows Network Diagnostics. ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR Tried on two different browsers. Running the diagnostic makes no difference. Also tried on my phone. Same result. Last edited by Josh Z; 10-02-2021 at 04:14 PM.. |
