So another decent bonus is coming, and I would like some advice on what to buy. Here is what I am leaning towards. What do you guys think I should get?
1) Skystriker 2) Dragonfly 3) Condor 4) Thunderclap 5) Rolling Thunder 6) Moray 7) Whale Or should I get a number of rarer/more expensive figures, i.e. Storm Shadow, Silver Pads Grand Slam, Scarlett, Listen N Fun Tripwire, etc. Or should I get a number of less expensive vehicles? Any other expensive items you might recommend? If I'm lucky with Ebay Auctions, I might be able to get two or three of the items above. The rolling Thunder is by far my favorite from that list.

My two cents is make sure you have room for vehicles now and in the future. If not, stick with small ones you like and do figures.

That's some sound advice. Also making sure you don't live in a wildfire prone (or other disaster) area- it took exactly one evacuation's worth of trying to prioritize among 50ish vehicles and a Terrordrome to teach me that I'm a figures only guy until I leave California.

Was in Cooperstown, NY today with family visiting the baseball Hall of Fame. There is a vintage toy store off the main street called Toys of Fame. The owner was nice to talk to. Tried hard to sell things I asked about but in a nice way. My kid got a Hulk Buster Iron Man LEGO set. I bought a vintage electric baseball game for $40 and a Tiger Force Duke for $25. It was complete without file card. He had about 25 Joes all 10% off. Nothing was more then $30. I would have bought TF Roadblock as well but was missing the tripod. Had a complete Night Viper with no price. I would have asked about price and maybe bought but he needed a bath and the scope on the visor was broken off with the peg stuck in the visor.

Either way, sounds like a cool spot. I really miss the days when those sort of places were everywhere.

I appreciate the offer. I guess the monocle scope is really what needs to be fixed. Honestly I should have just bought it if the price was under $30 because I could have easily fixed it for display regardless. Problem was I already spent so much on impulsive baseball purchases the whole trip I had to leave it. I dropped $120 on a vintage baseball glove from the 40’s. Spent a bunch on baseball cards. Needed to put my wallet away.

I live far from Cooperstown but here in MD there are a bunch of vintage toy stores. Fun to visit with the kids but Pricing varies. Some are like eBay on steroids for prices. |

My bad. You were right, the stud is on the visor. Never had Night Viper as a kid. Just have a loose one with no accessories.
