Oh, I don't mind telling you it was ebay! Though some prices on there can be ridiculous (people thinking they can ask £25 for Repeater or something), you can still get some good finds. Australia is a good one for buying right now as the exchange rate is extremely favourable. I bought a lot of figures from a collector over there a while back, he had some great stuff. Cleaned him out as he'd moved over to Transformers.

Yet another cool score. I’m guessing from the same collector as my last find. Not sure exactly which accessories go with which figures, but all in great shape. Some complete, some not I’m guessing. All the parachutes still unopened in backpacks, and a bunch of talking battle command stuff that I don’t know anything about. Some very cool stuff, some strange early 90’s neon. The mechanical shark backpack for the win!!! Any estimations on the lot? Anyone interested? Thanks for looking 🙏🏻

I was browsing Etsy and found a complete Pile Driver for $8.50 that the seller mistakingly thought was incomplete...
I also scored a factory sealed Ghost Striker X-16 off eBay (a really hard to find jet loose, so I just bit the bullet and bought it sealed) I like this thing more than I thought I would.

Yeah the Ghost striker is good fun, I love having an F-16 style fighter with a great 2 seat cockpit, and it comes with possibly my favourite version of Ace.

I had to buy 3 Ghoststikers in order to complete one. Its one of my favorite vehicles from the later years.

I love the Ghoststriker. It's easily the best vehicle of the 91-94 era and right up there with the Sky Striker and Conquest.
I scored a lot of 15 Joes from the 1992 and the Street Fighter Devastator on Ebay. I believe it's only missing the windshield wiper. I want to see how the purple looks in person - to me it seems like it works with the vehicle and can be turned into a Cobra Halftrack. The Parasite I won was delivered last week. That thing is a great vehicle - the colors aren't as bad as I thought they would be and it is just about as big as the Monster Blaster APC. Last edited by HitandRun; 01-10-2019 at 11:13 PM.. |

Used to love that vehicle, and still do whenever I get it out. I always liked to pair it with my Sonic Boom tank (paralyzer repaint), then come after them with my Mudbuster and/or Brawler. (Though I think I saw that the Brawler is not well loved around here?). CC (talking battle commander, with pack unscrewed & removed) always used to ride inside the Paralyzer when it was safe, along with some troopers to protect him, while my v2 B.A.T., less senior troopers, and whoever was in CC’s doghouse at the time would ride outside. Wish I could remember who drove... 90s kids may not have had it as good as good as 80s kids, but those were still damn fun toys : ) |

It fits in nicely with the 94 Vipers. A little off topic but have you guys noticed certain figures seem to have the same defects - Slaughter's Marauders figures seem to have hands/thumbs that break easily, Capt Grid Iron/Beach Head seem to always have broken crotch pieces/Voltar's elbows are always cracked/a majority of 91-94 figures will have stressed elbows although not always cracked. |

The Paralyzer is on my short list of toys to complete my Cobra collection. I had the Sonic Boom Tank for a while but I did not like the yellow cannons. For some reason the bright orange of the Paralyzer does not bother me as it has that nice color for the cannons. As a vehicle I like it alot - it packs more of a punch than the Hiss and the design of the vehicle is also really nice (can't say that about alot of 90s vehicles). I do think us 90s kids were not as lucky as the 80s kids but yea their were still alot of great Joe toys in the 90s!

I can testify to Snake Eyes V2 and Beachhead having weak crotches. In fact, those are the only two body parts I need for my collection.
