Grabbed 3 Hydro-vipers for $11. Only one complete but that's cool. A friend gave me a sack of loose limbs & snapped O-ring joes. Not from lines I collect but plenty to work and sharpen my "refurbushing" skills with

hey guys, I just wanted to show you this haul because i’ve come to the point on this one where it’s mostly paid off. I bought this lot about a year and a half ago for $2,000. Like most of you, I buy lots, sell off enough to make my money back and keep the rest, I don’t try to make money off of them because I do it more to build my collection (and for the fun of it) than for profit. I love every second of it, so really, not only do I end up with some awesome figures in the end, it’s great fun doing it. But anyway when I got it, It was about 3 times this size and had a bunch of other figures with it that I sold off to get back my initial investment. The reason I’m putting it up now is because I’m really close to having sold off everything else that was in the lot to get my money back so that all of this stuff here was almost free. So far, after expenses (shipping, packaging, paypal, ebay, etc.) I’ve gotten back $1,803.87 of my initial investment (and I just sold a complete T.A.R.G.A.T but I haven’t been paid for it yet so I can’t count it) and I have about 8 or 9 more figures up now for sale that were included in this lot that should bring in another 90-100.00 after expenses. Hopefully when they sell, and all is said and done, I will be within around 70-90.00 of my original $2,000. I plan on keeping all the ones here in these pictures and I also have many of the filecards but I already put them into my collection with my other ones and since I’m not 100% sure which ones actually came with this lot I don’t want to put them in the picture. Anyway, long story short, after all expenses I will have paid around 70-90 bucks for all of this.
Congrats buddy! |

thanks man, and yea it's great to find lots that you can just pull out what you want and sell the rest and get your money back. when you buy multiple lots and try to piece them together it can be pretty tough to remember every figure and which accessories they came with, that mark bellomo guide is amazing help though, if you don't have one you should definitely get it

I got these last night from someone off of craigslist. Also I will list in the joecon thread what I got during joecon and from kokomo toys when I went up there during joecon week if anyone is interested. Anyways here is last nights score.
Yes that is sneek peaks mic. I found it in the mobat. The two uzi's I found in the panels of the skystriker. haha. The cape is the patch version.

Found these last week in a desk drawer at a local thrift shop for $1.50 (they were 25 cents apiece). I was amazed at the price I got them for.
Today I went to Goodwill and paid $1.61 for this Moray. It's in dire need of a lot of parts and tlc but I know someone who will be happy to restore it. Overall, a great time last weekend and this weekend for finding vintage in my opinion. Wishing everyone happy hauls. |

I built some shelves for my 82-89 guys. Nothing special. But I needed something as the bookshelf wasn't cutting it anymore. I've pieced most of it together in the last 2 years and still have some gaps to fill. I still had all my childhood figures but very few accessories but thanks to ebay and some friends I'm getting there. I decided to put the cutoff at 1989. If the figures not complete with original weapons it doesn't make the shelf, so I've got a few on deck. The funny thing is my Modern Era collection is way bigger than the ARAH stuff but that stuff all stays in the bins.

Well it may not be much but I am happy because this lot had some pieces in it that I needed and it was all FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Sorry so happy, going to restore the SM and CG and use them as joe bases. Not pictured but also got was an 83 headquarters which I need to sort through.
