Did anyone here get there hands on a Funskool SkyStriker??

I always wondered if anyone other than me got one of those Funskool Skystrikers from Smalljoes.com about 5 years ago. I paid 30.00 for that plane and it is still in package. Unfortunately, the blasted thing came with a Cheesy Lifeline figure and the missles were Orange, and there weren't near enough stickers and it came with 1 parachute. I have the stickers now to make it like the 1983 plane, and I could use an Ace from back in the day, and missles, and the extra chute. The mold still has the Hasbro 1983 logo stamped on the bottom of the plane, but I have heard from my friends... "THAT'S NOT AN ORIGINAL SKYSTRIKER!!" Well, personally I am almost out to prove them wrong!!

I have one, came with sci fi though. I love it, don't have a us skystriker but building that out of the box was something I missed out on as a kid.

People say they can't make a new Skystriker because Hasbo's mold for it is broken. But your saying this was made only 5 years ago? I guess it could have broken between then and now....Sigh.

I WANT A NEW SKYSTRIKER HASBRO!!!!!!!…………. Please

And that's exactly what happened. Funskool didn't have the same handling practices as Hasbro and it got damaged. It's not that much of a leap of faith.

I've got one. I've seen three different versions that all had varying colors on the missiles. All were the same color gray...mine's hanging from the ceiling, and I dare say I like it more than the vintage one. BTW, anyone got any extra missiles from one? I need one of the midsize ones in bright red.

I don't have an the Indian version but I have two US skystrikers. I was able to put the pair together for around $120 but that included a lot of elbow grease and patience as they were in really rough shape. They look fantastic now.
