I recently got a complete general and was wondering it's value. It came out after I had quit playing with joes.

If it's complete, the lights & sounds work & nothing is broken, you could get around $120.00- $150.00 on ebay. You hardly ever see one for sale that's 100% complete. And they're usually broken.

The General is one of those vehicles that doesn't sell as well as other larger vehicles. The design of it is just not as good as a lot of other stuff which I think brings it's value down. Shipping is also a problem as it is hard to find a box to fit it. I sold one outside of eBay a couple of years ago because shipping was going to break the deal. I sold it for $70 complete. Sounds worked, lights did not. The lights never work. That did not include Major Storm. If it did, then the value could go up quite a bit due to the rarity of that figure.

One thing you can do if you have some time is go on to ebay, do a search for GI Joe Generals, and click on the drop down menu in the item description to select 'add to watch list'. The generals will now be in your 'my ebay' page, and they will stay there even after the lots expire or are sold. It will also tell you what the winning bid was if the lot sold. This is a great way to do a little research and see what things are selling for at the moment, assuming you have the time to wait and watch a few auctions.

All the auctions I could find were incomplete. I was just curious. Not going to sell it. Honestly I had never seen it before.
