Just wondering if you thought about assembling your Joe vehicles as a kid, or did you just get to it? In many ways, it was a unique building experience -- obviously a $ saver for Hasbro. I know I didn't think about it too much, except to say that I enjoyed it as a Lego fan.

I would have them built before i got home.I took pride in not having to use the instructions. When i got the new Snowcat,i loved the fact you had to build it.

I used to love building them. Decals, not so much.

I was never into models or anything but I love putting together Joe vehicles. I remember after the line was cancelled and I bought a Scorpion jeep and Razor-Blade copter on clearance at Service Merchandise. I still remember the putting them together and feeling really bummed out that that would probably be the last time I ever got to do that.

I loved it. Like Lt. Faceless I was stoked to find out that my Snowcat was a box of parts.

I never figured out what they other "half the battle" was, but half the fun of G.I.Joe was definitely in putting the vehicles together! Especially the Defiant! Hell, the box was taller than I was! Getting the stuff OUT was an adventure!

I remember the Xmas my brother and I found all our presents a few day before the holiday. We opened, assembled, and stickerd all and managed to half a$$ put back in boxes. When we Opened them up, my Mother made the comment that it was nice they came pre assembled. A memory my Brother and I look back on and laugh! Loved doing the put together part...

HAHA! I was thinking the same thing when I got my SkyStriker. My bother and I each got one for Christmas. While I was putting the stickers on my new one I thought to myself "Fuck. My dad this for 2?!? I'm pretty sure he even did all the no steps. I owe him a call and thank you."
