Do any of you choose to add "custom" or other stickers to you vehicle collection ? I just restored my mobat with some of rubens stickers & of course it looks really nice. I have it parked next to my 98 mobat , and the TRU mobat looks so plain compared to the original. I think I'm going to get another set of stickers for the original mobat and put them on the TRU mobat, just to give it some color . I like having my vehicle collection restored to there original glory, & I have lots of "customs"- original vehicles with different stickers on them to suit my own taste. but I have no space or need to have two 1998 TRU mobats, 1 original & another customized . do any of you guys do this ? if you do make customs, do you have a original as well ? I mostly do this with VAMPS , SKYSTRIKERS, HISS TANKS & STINGERS. WHAT DO YOU GUYS HAVE IN YOUR COLLECTION THAT YOU ADD CUSTOM STICKERS FOR ?

For the original Joe vehicles like the MOBAT I like to have at least one original on display. Anything made in later years, like a v2.0 of a vehicle using the same mold is a "custom" to me, re-releases included. My vintage vehicles definitely need a sticker refresh to restore them to their former glory since all the decals are gross; sticky, faded or falling off.
Xero's vehicle restoration thread using the JRuben decals is definitely inspiring so I will also buy a second set of some of the decals to dress up any iterations of vehicles made in later years to create a "custom" or to give it that vintage flare. I also plan on using the jRuben decals on newly tooled vehicles of the same name. Prices are good. For example, with the black Pursuit of Cobra HISS, I plan on getting the V1 HISS decals and applying it on that vehicle (as I have seen some members do on here and it looks cool). When I get around to it I'll do the same with other later released vehicles. I generally stick to the vintage vehicles since they have nostalgic value; VAMP, STINGER, SKYSTRIKER, RATTLER, Killer WHALE, MAULER and so on. So to answer your questions, YES, I like to have one of each, a vintage and a only one "custom", just one not two or three or more because I don't have the space LOL. Even if I had the space I like to keep it simple as possible. Good luck on your projects. BTW, post some pics!

Thanks for your input. I have multiples of a lot of different vehicles, so I like to make some of them look " custom" to me . I don't like having original vehicles with crappy stickers, so I intend to restore all of mine at some point.
