Hi, I was hoping some members of HissTank could help me out with a couple of questions I have.
I was going through my collection of Joes that have been boxed up for 10-15 years and I found 5 of the 9 Hasbro Direct "Original Adventure Team" figures still sealed in their baggies. I think might have the other 4 around somewhere but before I open them up to display them with the rest of my collection I was hoping to get a little more information on them as I've always found it quite difficult to find images and information on them online, and I don't want to open them up if they are exceptionally rare. All the figures are absolute mint, they have no paint wear what-so-ever, and are as stiff now as the day they were made. The figures I have found so far are Grunt, Short-Fuze (Its the Mark W Freistadt profile), Flash, Doc and Airbourne. Airbourne was originally opened and his bag has been taped, but that's how I got him from a Hasbro employee. I've uploaded some images, though the quality is not that great. http://www.stevenmapes.com/images/joes/Untitled-2.jpg http://www.stevenmapes.com/images/joes/Untitled-3.jpg http://www.stevenmapes.com/images/joes/Untitled-4.jpg http://www.stevenmapes.com/images/joes/Untitled-5.jpg http://www.stevenmapes.com/images/joes/Untitled-6.jpg http://www.stevenmapes.com/images/joes/Untitled-12.jpg I've not seen any sealed bagged ones before (though frankly I'd forgotten about them until recently when I started getting out my Joe collection again). So before I rip them open, please tell me if that would be a major mistake. Thanks |
