Currently I only have one of everything for the POC vehicles available in retail. My question is for the long-term collectors. Will I really see any appreciation in Bravo Vehicles over the next 5-10 years if I keep everything sealed? I'm guessing the answer is NO due to the amount of supply available; but I'm still wondering what people have seen historically...
Thanks ahead of time! |

Keeping the HISS and the VAMP sealed is a crime. Really good toys! I guess the easiest way is just to buy multiples.

maybe
more likely thought in 15-20 years even if there is a large amount available now some will be customized or destroyed parts lost and lost to various ways in the next 5-10 or 10-20 years from now |

Im planning to buy 2 more Hiss tanks (black ones) and really need to see the VAMP in hand before buying that one. and maybe 2 AWE strikers and at least 3 ice cutters and 2 snow cats.

Who knows if any of this stuff will be worth the hassle of storing it for years, (In a place where it won't get moldy or destroyed.)
Toys are rarely profitable & even then you need a place like this to get your money's worth. The POC toys may be worth something down the road, or they could be re-issued 10 times. We just don't know. If you like them open them up & enjoy them. If you want to keep the sealed then that might be best for you. |

There are no sure returns on anything. There are no sound investments.
I would suggest that if one is worried about how money is spent and the overall value of their dollar, then don't spend it but put it in the bank. However, if you are collecting, then enjoy the collection. If you enjoy things in the box, leave it in the box. Personally, I pull them out of the box and display them in a way that attempts to show off all the features of the toy.

Eventually modern era joes will gain a bit of collecting steam as far as demand and value... but it won't be "us" that decides what it's worth. It'll be
whomever is collecting in 15-20 years. And while some of those people might be us... there will obviously be new collectors who can shape such "value." It certainly/probably won't mirror some of the value and demand in 30 years that ARAH has over time. And you also have to consider first of all IF GI Joe still exists that far into the future. And if it does... what's it been through 'over the ages'- as it were. Will there even BE brick and motar retail that far in the future? Will action figures eventually end up as mostly adult collectibles? Also you have to take into account canceled, unknown modern era stuff that comes to light over the next however many years. We certainly haven't seen everything. All of this will determine the enthusiasm and demand thus "value" of the 25th and ROC and POC I think.
