I don't mind it. It's kind of the right look for a swamp vehicle. It's just that you would have been lucky to find a 25th in the wild, but these just sit there. I have 1 of each and I am happy with both.

Agreed. On paper, I hate it. But on the shelf, it's awesome. Nostalgia aside, it just works. Part of it's the black bottom, I think, but also I pick up a Moray vibe. It's like the Water Moccasin and the Moray got together and made babies. I like those babies. Last edited by ero; 09-29-2010 at 10:31 PM.. |

I picked up 2 last Friday with the $5 off a $25 purchase, so I got them for $10.23 each. Awesome deal. Love the Copperhead and Swamp Viper also.

It probably has more to do with the increased availability by being a TRU exclusive (a highly stocked movie tie in at that) than any issues with the product itself. It wouldn't have surprised me one bit had the last wave of 25th retail vehicles hit stores, the Sting Raider could easily have been just as big a shelfwarmer.

I picked one up today. I'd swap a Swamp Viper for a Copperhead.
