The one I got from WSToys has realistic painted eyes. I agree with you Beckly - the green was a step backward. I like the figure overall though. I mean heck, he comes with a squirt gun! How cool is that!

I snagged one as an impulse buy. I have to say he is actually pretty darn cool. The colors and paint aps are different, not to say thats a bad thing. I like the green eyes as its a change from the movie look a little bit. It didn't take long for him to grow on me. Gave him a cool gun and dumped all the nonsense he came with as it did nothing for me.

I liked it - I bought it - I'm glad I did.
...but that's just me.

The figure with the smaller guns and the ice picks are fine. As you said, the sculpt and details are nice. I just placed the giant gun and ice pieces into a bag. He displays just fine!

As with anything, buy if you like it and can afford to. Personally, I bought it along with all the rest of wave 2 because I like to have at least one figure whether it is MOC or if I open it. I was surprised by how much I liked the Destro figure. Honestly, I think I like him more than Dusty whom I never really shared the great love that everyone seems to have for.

The Resolute Destro IMO is a better arctic Destro, but this one isn't bad. The figure has some good points, but the overcoat looks more aristocratic and like the tactical/strategic genius he is rather than a field commander.
