Flash and Grand Slam deserve original head sculpts. I mean, come on Hasbro... it's the vaunted 25th line and you can pay up enough for a unique head? Even the original Grand Slam and Flash had different heads.
Flash had Steelers head and Grand Slam had Grunts head. Didn't even change the paint. Weak. 25 years and we're still supposed to buy that certain memebers of the team look identical except for hair color? You can do better Hasbro.

I think the sculpts are great. And honestly they look better than what the pics show on the sites IMO. There are still some of the common problems as with the old ones. The backpacks wont stay in very well on some. The guns do not fit into the grips very well. I never understood why they dont sculpt the trigger finger seperated to fit better on grips. The thing is I am putting them on a shelf to look at and admire what Hasbro has done by putting the memories of old days back into my adult life. So yes there is room for minor improvements I suppose. Then again are you buying them to play with?? lol, as an adult I am satisfied almost 100%. I just hope they continue the line.

I'd have to say my two biggest complaints are:
1) The hip socket/sitting straight issue. 2) Having to crack open the torso with a hammer to customize. |

I would say fix the articulation issues so the figures can fit into vintage vehicles(or make new vehicles).

Yeah that does suck for the hardcore collectors. I dont have any vehicles anymore so I didnt realize they wouldnt fit into them. You wouldnt think they would release new versions that the figures wouldnt fit into now though.

improvements that i would like to see:
1)backpack hole standard for all figures 2)trigger finger sculpted for all figures (more important for troopers) 3) double joint elbow articulation 4) Ball joint leg articulation 5) No sculpted weapons on body parts(example- Firefly's boot knife - i think i would look better if it was a removable knife) i'm really digging what hasbro is doing so far, everything thing they have done with the lineup have been excellent. i'm looking forward to future waves and improvements!. |

I for one think the wolf that goes with Snake Eyes is horrd! I think the original one was much better looking if I remember correctly other than being way too small. That is a little disappointing to me.
I also do not like the way they made Shipwreck look. I dont know quite why but he was always one of my favorites and I wish he looked a little better. |
