I thought these things were easy to pop off and put on other bodies. When I got the SDCC09 Destro set last yr, I wanted to put the silver head from that set on the retail ROC Destro. At first it was very hard to put on the SDCC head on the retail ROC version after soo many tries I gave up. Then I saw a youtube reviewer review the SDCC set and he managed to put the SDCC chrome head on the retail body, so I tried again and this time with much luck. The 1st CC from the 25th 5 pack is another head when you pop off its seems hard to put back on.

yeah, just like women, the holes are a bit different for every figure depending on heads...ROC Cover Girl and Dialtone both share the same body as Joe 5pack2 Lady Jaye, but the neck joints are different...
Noticed that with a lot of duke, hawk, and snake eyes heads.

Heads are usually made of soft plastic, so they usually pop out easily.
But Chromed heads are made of hard plastic, required for the vac chrome effect, that's why they're harder to pop out. The chrome gold head of IG Destro was nightmare to take off, for example.

At least they're all the same size (I'm looking at you Star Wars figures!).

LMFAO @ Synder Corps! I lol'ed on that opening statement and nearly spewed orange juice all over my screen. I think it went over most people's "heads"!

But Hasbro doesn't call me and ask my opinion of these things.

yeah, you remember back in the 80s when there was a standard across the board design to the Joes. And once you took the screws out of the back and the inside of the thigh, you could mixmatch any parts and make a figure. Thats what the modern line has been missing. And, it would be nice if all the SW and GIJOE body parts were interchangable considering their made by the same company...just saying.

Forget about customizers for the moment, it severely limits Hasbro's ability to reuse parts. If Helix and Cover Girl had had the same buck, then the heads would have been more easily swapped and Dial Tone wouldn't have looked so weird. I'm not saying everybody needs exactly the same proportions, but making sure the arms, legs, and heads are more fully interchangeable would create more opportunity for better frankenjoes and have little, if any, impact on the quality of the sculpt. I can understand that standardization wouldn't be a priority early in the 25th line, but why hasn't this been fixed already when it could only benefit Hasbro? |

On one of the SW Q&As they said something about it just depends on the figure and how it comes out. I'm sure with SW, they don't want the fans making a custom of a figure from the movie when they can sell them one.
