As I was putting off going out to get WD40, and after hearing so many bad Goo Gone stories, I tried olive oil on some old parts I'm restoring and it removed the old sticker residue like a charm. Couldn't believe how well it worked.
Anyone else ever tried this? Even if it discolors the parts, at least my WHALE now smells like the Olive Garden. |

baby oil followed by rubbing alcohol is what i have been using, no discoloration and no smell.

i ordered the stinger set from cobra stickers. they dont have ferret stickers. what is j reuben?

He's a somewhat mythical person in Mexico who also makes repro stickers (search for threads about him). I've never tried his stuff though, so can't attest to quality. Apparently, he's cheaper than Cobra Stickers, but his stickers are not pre-cut.
