I thought this would be important enough to merit front page status a major company gouging us on price an easy way for a group of people to let major company know how they feel by filling out the form located in the link in this convenient thread even a upc # and item code so said major company knows what we're talking about all right here in one convenient place. It's as quick and easy as making a post on hisstank. Who knows what a group of people can do if they work together to achieve something, we might get a surprise and actually achieve it. With 15,172 voices somebody at WM corporate might listen and that number is still growing. WM is usually the leader on low prices so when they are the highest how long till the rest of the stores jump on the bandwagon, and don't fool yourselves online shoppers the online stores will pay attention to WM's change also. So maybe it won't do anything but it never hurts to try.

Yeah, all I can say about this, besides Walmart being evil, which I've said many times here already, is this:
It won't make a difference to me, as I do not shop there at all. Though, if they are like every other store in my area, they will just be having empty pegs. |

Snake-Eyes,
I'm right with you brother! Yearly inflation I can live with..4% But this is getting out of hand. I would pay the increased prices if all jobs stay within the states. Increase in prices and walmart employees still dont get health insurance, what a joke! On another thought, What about todays kids who want to collect GI joes?.... I'm not talking about the 30 year old kids! Should they get additional paper routes because walmart is raising prices? |

You mean the 30 year olds right?
The dude who brings me my paper is about 40 years old. Lol. Todays kids have other means of buying joes. Walmart is not the only place to buy them. Though, it is the difference between being able to buy two figures or just one now, thanks to the magic of Walmart. |

No store near me has Joes either. I'm caught up until wave 7 anyway thank god because wm,target, & tru have been empty hopefully that changes for the next waves and wm lowering their price again before it causes a domino effect and all the stores fall in line with walmart 's price

Difficult as the plastic gold we call joes are to find it's hard not to go to every store that carries them just to find one. DREAM you can still support the cause even if you don't shop there.

I know this post got eclipsed while I was out of town over the weekend by all the news on potential new waves, but I think it is still very important to have your voice be heard by Walmart, unless you are okay with a 40% increase in Joe single figure prices in just a few months.
You have no grounds to complain if you don't do anything to try to fix things... *bump* |

This is an important thread fill out the form on WM's site send it then you can bitch on here all day long about the price but at least WM will hear some of it. Hell I'm gonna call Wal-Mart tonight talked to a manager at WM she told me to have my facts ready and explain the other stores are lower and Hasbro is lower. I'm sure corporate knows this already but I'm still gonna give them an ear full.
