Figs are now 6.84 at WM!

Just checked my Wal-Mart this morning and after raising them from 4.88 to 5.44, they have now went up to 6.84 for a single!

4.88 to 5.44 didn't seem too bad and they were still better than 5.99. 6.84 was quite a shock though. By the way, this is not an april fools post in case you were wondering. I checked the fig on a price scanner just to make sure that the label on the peg was correct and it scanned at 6.84.

So Walmart charges $6.84 for a single figure and Target charges $9.99 for an exclusive figure and vehicle pack. What's that about everyday low prices?

I wonder if this will be widespread and permanent. If Target follows suit, I may just end up dropping this line. I really don't want to pay Star Wars figure prices for Joes when there are no licensing fees involved. The MSRP on these can't be more the $5.99. I wonder if Walmart is just raising prices because they are selling so well and they can't keep them in stock.

doesn't mean much to me. i haven't seen a figure at walmart in a month. can't jack the price up on stuff you don't have or never will.
