I bought three 2-figure comic packs today and opened the first two to find some nice bio cards tucked under the comic. When I opened the third pack there were no bio cards. The comic is sealed in a bag and there's a lump in the middle, I wondered if the cards were sealed in there or if the lump was the voucher for the mail in Rescue Doc offer. I didn't want to unseal the comic yet and check. I don't even know if the Doc voucher is thick enough to make a lump or just paper... Can anyone help me out? This is the pack with the missing cards:
Thanks! |

The file cards, doc voucher form and doc sticker should all be inside in a plastic baggie. They were originally in a baggie inside the comic pack but too many people were opening the comics and stealing the stickers so they started shrink wrapping the comics during later runs and put the FCs, etc inside.

Thanks, that's a relief. I don't know why people would steal for Doc, he doesn't look like a very appealing character to me.

Though, honestly, Doc was one of my least favorite ARAH toys, but the 25th edition is great looking. It's one of the few loose figs I keep on display at home.

A later run of Doc had the same fixed arms as TF Duke.

Also, the Doc stickers and figure was a HOT selling item on the secondary market when it first came out. I remember people paying upwards of $50-75 for a complete sticker redemption form.
Think about it ... buy 6 comic packs, take out the stickers, return the comic packs, sell the stickers and its pure profit .. that's why people did it and also why the later runs have the comics wrapped individually.
