I'm confused as well on them not making a more classic version of Serpentor or of one more like the comic/dic version (ie with red cape), altho I'm glad that made the DDP version too...it's just...it's kind of like if they only made a Tiger Force 25th Duke but not have the regular Duke too. I hope that is a good example. I did like the version in the DVD pack of Serpentor too...I would kit bash as well...but I have not opened any of mine yet cuz I only have one...ahhhh.

Did some part swapping myself took the Wave 2 Serpentor and added the hood back and snakehead helmet and voila 1986 figure
As for Zartan popped out the Wave 11 head out of hood and popped in Wave 3 color-change one and put on Wave 11 figure instant win Wish Major Bludd was easy to repair waited till desert one and DVD one showed up instant winners |

as great as the 25th line was, Hasbro was still kind of all over the place with some of it and obviously interested in doing some modern things that they felt made the characters more interesting to work on. Buzzer's shoulder armor stands out to me, or changing up the Snake Eyes v.1 legs from the original features.

To me DDP stands for Diamond Dallas Page... I liked when he used to make the diamond sign with his hands and then do the Diamond Cutter on some poor sap... But yah, we get 3 versions of 25th Serpentor and none of them are 86 ARAH accurate... so sad... especially since we are getting an official Slaughter now.
I know I am probably in the minority on this, but I love the 25th Dusty with his modern camo look instead of his ARAH look. I never had Dusty when I was a kid, so his 25th update was not a "must have" for me, but I really love how the 25th version came out now that I actually have him in my collection. |
