MODS.... This is a BLAM against Hasbro. Censor or delete at your desire, But there will be those out there who will see it before you can. And will understand and realize the impact it coul'd result in!
Hasbro has many franchises under it's belt...JOE (of course) Indy, MU, F'n STAR WARS!!!! They spend money on devolping new Articulations for each series they produce!... WHILE EVERYONE knows the Joe articulation is the way to go... They devolped a brand new wrist articulation for Sgt. Slaughter that they will include into the Joe line in the future. Why limit the articulation and production process to one single line? Why not take the best of ALL their lines and make it the standard for ALL lines? Everyone bitches about one thing or another... It costs more to fix each and every line in accordance to grievances rather than fixing a ONE TIME molding style. Make them ALL compatable! Close down the factories that make ball and joint hips rather than the old school T square hips, add the T sqaures to everyone (Meaning all lines) Granted, yes, it increases the unemployment rate... But hey, make a figure that we WANT to buy We'll pay 15 for it (In multiples...the highest I''ve seen currently for a RES trooper is 29.00.. BBTS has em' at about 16) Coming from a customiser point of view, I would LOVE to expand my universe out of the standard form. Not many do (hello Hasbro) I have many ideas for NEW FIGURES... It's just DAMN hard to mix everything together... Hasbros fault. Enough said. Indy sunked cause of initial articulation... Why? Cause they used craptastic Indy/SW articulation. While they have the ability to do great things with or THROUGH the JOE Verse. Imagine this... That final "Episode 3 Battle" Kenobi vs/ Skywalker..... JOE Style, MU style, or SW Style.... Collectors inheridantly know, fans know, newbies, they don't know shit. A final OB1/DV final battle...needs to be epic, and SW has yet to produce an epic articulation figure... Compared to the City Strike/ RESOLUTE Snake Eyes..... Nuff said on that.

Wich would envitablty lead to multptile Joe and Marvel corssovers, wherein Cobra teams with Hydray, and Joes would team with SHIELD... Which in in and of itself leads to Joe's Snake Eyes and Wolverine team - Ups
...Hello...WIN!!!

I agree, good topic. I wish Hasbro would combine and unify articulation and sculpt too.
No mod here is going to feel this question is out of line, so I'm not sure why you felt the need to call us out. We don't work for Hasbro, and "censorship" on complaints to Hasbro is not our job. Our job is simply to make sure everyone abides by the rules. We've discussed this issue in previous threads, most recently here. Here's an excerpt: Quote:
I think the real reason Hasbro doesn't want to create compatibility across their 3.75" lines is to create brand identity. Or, I say better, to create brand separation.
I think Hasbro wants MU to be different from GI Joe, and GI Joe to be different from Star Wars not just in packaging, but also in the overall design of the figures, and subsequently in articulation and sculpt. I think it's purposefully kept separate so that anyone can tell by first glance that yes, that is a Joe figure, and no, that's not, it's a Marvel figure, even if both figures are wearing jeans and a button up shirt. I think they don't want kids mixing and matching, but collecting separate lines, and keeping the figures subtly incompatible is one way to do that. Kids are likely to buy more when collecting two of something than mixing and matching. They still try to make the figures "compatible" aesthetically to a degree, so that War Machine and Cappy can be played with alongside kid's Joe collections (or vice versa), but they want it very clear that these are two separate lines that look ok together, not one line with characters from different universes.

screw the damn t shape, I HATE T-SHAPED HIPS. why the f*ck would I only want to move my figures legs only back and forth and not any other way. thats retarded. human beings dont move that way. this also prevent figures from being able to fit into or ride on several types of vehicles. bad bad bad bad bad

THANK YOU!
Everyone here KNOWS the JOE articulation beats out all others under the HASBRO flag.... (I've bought a few SW figures, and they SUCK!!) I've also gotten a few of the Marvel Universe, and they suck too! JOE articulation is the way to go!, and if the "Bro" goes with one style. they already go with 4" figs... I LOVE the XO:Wolverine: Logan figure (The one with the classic leather jacket) Flash in my mian character in my dios, andI transplanted a HAWK v2 head with it///looks fantastic If HASBRO would just RECOGNIZE that no matter what line they get the props for, keep it all congruent (IE: Same parts) Roxk whatever line, but keep it all the same! SAME articulation! Same basic construction! Hell's Bells, They already have the 3rd World factories making the Joe line in abundance (We all know that's the line that's keeping them afloat... C'mon!") As consumers, We want QUALITY Figures From the business Perspective, one STYLE of figure is most cost effecient. And with how insane JOE collectors can be... Make all Hasbro figures in the same way, We WILL buy multiples of anything other than JOE just for the fact that we will and WANT the line to continue... And once the lines can merge easily... The ones who buy your line will keep you afloat. Multiple figure buys, what not.
