I finally got my Tomax & Xamot Comic pack yesterday and read the included comic book and noticed a few interesting things that referenced and might possibly preview what's to come in regards to the 25th anniversay line...
CG Fred (Already Released) Major Blood (Scheduled) Wild Bill (Scheduled) Hiss Tank (Scheduled) Roadblock City Assault? (Scheduled) Doc (Mail In, Scheduled) Blowtorch (Maybe) Rip Cord (Maybe) Cutter (Maybe) Terror Drome (Maybe) Tomax & Xamot Ferret ATV (Maybe) GI Joe Armadillo (Maybe) I don't have the comic book in front of me right now, but if I've missed anything, let me know. Let's hope that these figures and vehicles are released! |

I'm gonna have to bet the Cutter figure is almost definite. The 2nd version of Shipwreck (Comic 2pack with Copperhead - Wave 4 i think) has Shipwreck in the life vest. It's really just a hop skip and jump to redeco a head with a ball cap and TADA Cutter.
But then again, that is justmy humble opinion ~D |

I think Hasbro confirmed at a Q and A that Cutter was a no.

But, it doesn't keep us customizers from doing what they won't. I think there was already a thread about making a Cutter. It will be pretty cut and dry of a custom, unless someone just goes all out.
I prefer the easy head swap over all the other stuff, although there are those times that I will break down figures to make those characters that will not be remade.. mainly due to them being internationals. Since the Ferret is a small vehicle and we have already seen other small vehicles on the horizon and the twins already out... It is probably safe to say a ferret is a good possibility.

I'm in the field tomorrow. I need to stock up on my pogeybait.
Because MRE should really be an acronym for Meals Refusing to Exit Is the Breaker that comes with the RAM supposed to be different? [I thought it was a Clutch figure]. I'll be seriously miffed since I bought one with a Destro I don't need. Last edited by Wylde Weezle; 03-24-2008 at 12:39 AM.. |
