When I collected enough money to buy a tactical battle platform.
My joes needed a "base" and I could never afford the HQ. This was the second best thing. |

hmmm....
it was a moment last year when I did an "inventory" of my current collection, and realized that the collection I have now is almost twice as large as my old collection that my ex wife threw away. ...which alliterates the Sam Jackson Phrase: "anything lost, can be found again, Except for time wasted"

Looking high and low for a 25th anniversary Flint. I waited forever it seemed. Didn't think I'd ever get one. Couple times, I almost paid way too much for one on ebay. Flint was the figure I wanted the most, he was my favorite as a kid.
Then, while Christmas shopping on black Friday at a Super Target, I found three of 'em. And I bought all three. Two to keep carded, one to open. |

Finding the Flagg, Defiant, Terror Drome, and a slew of other vehicles for an insane price through Craigslist.

Hmmm well of all time, no doubt it was Easter morning 1985 when I peeked in that basket wrapped in blue celaphane and saw Storm Shadow nestled snuggly next to a chocolate Easter Bunny...my heart stopped. Mom and I searched forever to find his ninja ass....Easter Bunny made sh*t happen!
In recent times? Def when I opened a box and saw the Sting Raider looking up at me. I went through 2 MONTHS OF HELL tracking it down, thanks to some friendly Tankers, I scored 2...best vehicle ever! |

When I was a kid I would go to my dad's house and he would have new figures and vehicles all set up for me on the bookshelf or on the kitchen table.
More recently finding 2 clear wraiths at a Marshalls when I had no clue they had Joe figures.

My moment was building a table with my father-in-law, and then both of us putting my Flagg together on it. |
