Hi all, very first post.
Loved G.I. Joe figures (well, Action Force being that I'm from the UK) back in the day and have succumbed to the collecting bug again with the ROC line, spurred on by the fact that they are so cheap in certain shops in the UK at the moment. Anyway I have around 14 figures and would eventually like to collect a whole set of ROC figures and build a custom display to house them in. So the question is, what is the consensus on how many figures there are in the ROC line if we only count the carded figure waves. No vehicle figures or special packs or figure variants, just the regular carded figures? I've worked out from the checklist that C1 Wave 1 - Wave 5 amounts to 47 figures. Add to that the 6 TRU exclusives and that's 53 figures in total. Does that sound right? Or am I missing something. I'd like to have a case for ROC and then start a new one for the POC line, if my wallet doesn't have a breakdown. Any help in finding the 'definitive' number of carded figures would be much appreciated. Oh yeah, nice to have found this place. Cheers. |

Do you want to collect variants as well? In that case, I'm around 61 including the variants. Then it goes up over ninety if you want to add in the numbered versions. Example, CC Snake Eyes has a #1 and a #2 on his sword's sheath.

Cheers for the responses and welcomes.
Yeah, not bothered about variants or anything like that just wanting one of each carded character. Looking through the links (thanking you kindly) and applying my single character on a card preference I do appear to be looking at 47 single carded figures and the 6 TRU exclusives. So 53 looks like a good target for me. Thanks again. |
