Hey Everyone!
Since there are so many threads with questions in regards to this mail in offer, it's getting a bit difficult for those who want to find something out to find info. As such, I here about declare this thread the official offspring of Shogi's original posting of all this info in the 25A Q&A Thread. If you already have a question thread open, I'm going to take the info, copy it here and close "your thread". This thread will of course stay open, and this post will be updated as necessary ----------------- Quote:

If there is a cut in it or if the tape appears to be retaped, there is a chance that the DOC Proof of purchace was stolen from that pack.
Official Entry Form for Doc: http://www.hasbro.com/gijoe/closeup....PIECES-502.jpg The first 2 waves of comic packs has an older order form that does not mention the Flag/Battle points you can send in. The above updated order form should start appearing in wave 3 comic packs Complete rules to get Doc: 1. Collect and save the proof-of-purchase stickers from 6 G.I. Joe Comic Packs. The DOC redemption stickers will be available in the first 9 comic book packs. (These will be the items shipping for the first half of 2008.) 2. Attach the stickers to the spaces on the redemption form included with the comic packs. (You can have any combination of 6 stickers!) 3. Clearly print your name and address in the space provided. 4. Mail the completed certificate (name and address clearly printed, all 6 stickers attached) and a check or money order for $4.95 (made out to Operation: Rescue Doc Redemption Request) to: 5. If a fan has collected 6 Proofs-of-Purchase plus $4.95 shipping, they are also allowed to include 50 Flag points and/or Battle points and $4.95 for each additional figure (limit of 3 extra figures). (Note: If you use the Flag points/Battle points option, please verify that your letter does not require additional postage before sending.) GI JOE Operation: Rescue Doc Redemption Request PO Box 2099 Azle, TX 76098 The exclusive G.I. Joe Doc figure will be mailed within 6-8 weeks from receipt of the redemption request. (Please note: product does not begin shipping until May 1, 2008.) This offer is good for a limited time only and while supplies last. Official Redemption Certificates must be postmarked by August 31, 2008. Incomplete entries (missing the Official Redemption Certificate, one or more proof-of-purchase stickers, and/or payment) will not be honored. No copies, duplicates or other reproductions will be accepted. HASBRO reserves the right to verify all redemptions and reject any insufficient redemption at its sole discretion. Offer valid for redemption by end users only; excludes resellers and distributors. Void where taxed, prohibited or restricted by law. HASBRO is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, damaged, mutilated, incomplete, illegible or postage-due redemptions. Offer valid in U.S. only for fulfillment at U.S. addresses. No P.O. boxes will be accepted. An updated version of the mail in form was released with wave 2 & 3 comic packs. That being said, some older order forms were also packed with newer CPs. You can still use the older form and include Flag/Battle Points to obtain more Docs. If you would prefer the newer, print this: http://www.gijoeclub.com/updates.cfm ------------------- You are entitled 1 Doc per: 6 Doc Stickers (POPs) 50 Battle/Flag Points (Max 3 - 4 figures per total order) ------------------- Why hasn't my check cleared? - Well, because Hasbro's clearing house hasn't processed your check yet. Your payment won't clear until your order has been processed. Since that won't happen until may (which I believe more realisticly will be June), you have no reason to worry. -------------------- If that's the case, why rush my order in? - Easy: First Come, first serve. Those who sent in their requests back in late December/Early January will of course receive their items first. --------------------- If you haven't mailed in your order yet, MAKE SURE YOU COPY EVERYTHING!!!! You don't have to copy all your points, maybe just the stack. Unfortunately, if you don't, and the clearing house says you didn't send something or the other...you're SOL. Don't think this can happen? Talk to a few disgruntled fans who had their unmasked Storm Shadows & Crimson Guard Disguise Agent Faces figures dissapear. The 2 minutes worth of inconvenience now is well worth the 2 hours of aggrevation you'd save yourself later. |

When you go to mail your items, make sure to add delivery confirmation. It's $0.65, or free if you print postage. Again, it's better to be safe than sorry. After all the time "you" have invested in collecting stickers and points, it's in "your" best interest that you follow your submission from Cradle to Grave. ;)

They mean Flag and Battle Points from older lines, right? In another thread someone suggested that we could use the UPC's from the 25th line...is that true?

The UPC thing came from someone calling Hasbro and asking about using them instead of the POP stickers because those were stolen. Unfortunately the person asked if he could use the POP (instead of saying UPC) so Hasbro told him yes. As far as I know, no one has clarified this |
