As some may know, by my sale list, I am cleaning out my Joe collection so that I can pick up just my favorite pieces. As I have been going through my collection I found that my 85 Snow Serpent was missing and came to realized that I must have sold it a while back. Needless to say I was bummed because he is one my top five list of favorite figures. Well a couple of weeks ago I came across a craigslist ad for Joes that were used and played with and thought I would go check it out. Low a behold there he was almost complete in excellent condition. (especially compared to the other of the figs)
I picked him up along with a few others for a couple of bucks and had the rest of the accessories at home to complete my new 85 Snow Serpent. Welcome home buddy. Then after Christmas, this is why I am thanking Hasbro, my wife and are strolling around in TRU and "holy monkey" the ROC Snow Serpent is in! I think it's been out for a while but it was the first time I've seen one in the wild. And I have to say I think Hasbro nailed this remake everything from the accessories to the paint. I stinkin' love the ice axe! The only thing I noticed is that shoulder articulation is a bit limited but I don't care the new Snow Serpent looks awesome displayed next to the original. So thanks Hasbro for this great polar trooper! Here are some pics so you can see what I mean.

monk, i 2, loved this figure as a kid, top 5 hands down, growing up in upstate new york and dealing with snow alot, i was always fonder of the snow themed cobras and joes.....
they did a great job on the 25th and the roc tru exclusive in my honest opinion....... not much talk gets said about this figure, but i know alot of people dig him like us!!!
