So I finally decided to get a ROC Night Raven but for my nephew. He tore open the box (as little kids do) and all was well...until we found out there's no decals!
Since the box was ripped open, I don't think a return/exchange is possible so I wrote to Hasbro to see if they could give me a set of decals. Here's they wrote back: Response (Stephanie) 12/18/2009 12:04 PM Thank you for contacting Hasbro, Inc., and for bringing this matter to our attention. Please be assured that we have shared your concerns with the product team. We will be pleased to arrange an exchange of the complete GI Joe Night Raven for you as, unfortunately, parts are not available separately. To help facilitate the process, please use the postage paid mailing label that is being sent to you at the address you have provided. Simply package up your return and place the mailing label securely on the package. Drop it off at the Post Office window and it’ll be on its way back to us. We are sending the mailing label to: (Address deleted for this post) Once the product is received at our returns facility, we will be glad to send a new replacement product. If there is a production delay and this product is not available we will replace it with a product of equal value. We want to assure you that all of us are dedicated to maintaining quality products. We hope you and your family will enjoy our products for many years to come. So they're trying to tell me that in order to get the missing decals, I have to ship EVERYTHING back? (probably without the box which was destroyed) Has anyone else had to go through this with Hasbro concerning a missing part? I think it's a little excessive for them and I have to find an empty box to gather up all the Night Raven parts together and ship. Any comments, thanks in advance! |

For something like this, you really should deal with the store. WM and Target have very easy exchange policies, and would have swapped it without any problems...

i just got the same message from hasbro in regards to a marvel universe Warpath figure i bought. opened it up and his one hand fell off, snapped at the peg. I had this happen with 1 or 2 other marvel universe figs but this time i had enough, i'm not spending $9 on a broken figure, so i wrote them and they said the same message, i got the shipping label the other day but am hessitant to send it back to them because i might not get a warpath back in return!?! whats with that bullsh*t!! i've herd other people say how they sent stuff back to hasbro but got an even better/harder to find figure in return. what do you guys think i should do? send warpath back to hasbro and hope i get one back from them? i mean a non broken figure is better than a busted up one...hasbro's quality control has been slackin lately

I had better service back in the late 80's when Hasbro sent me replacement missiles and stickers for my Transformers (of course, every letter was done via snail mail).
I'm not too sure what happened. The whole "send everything back to us and we'll send you a brand new one" (or something else of the same value) is what Toy Biz used to do when I had that situation with Marvel Legends Elektra (missing one Sai). Of course, I didn't get a brand new Elektra but got Punisher instead. |

well the last thing i orderd (the mars guys on sale) still came haphazardly in a the oversized box, but at least this time they placed the bubble pouches on top of all of it. thanks assbro for quality control. and yes i have wrttien them, called and whatn ot to alter them to the problem over the years. but the finger pointing excuses rule the day. but at least i am always nice when i talk to them. That is a bit ridiculous. I'd think a UPC from the box or a receipt would be sufficient to receive stickers.
What a waste of a toy. I bought a Sgt. Savage figure that came with the VHS cassette back when they came out, and the tape didnt work in my VCR or was blank or something. I called customer service and an entire new packaged figure and cassette came, I didnt send anything. It was shipped in a mangled box from a Shaq figure basketball shooting playset, which was wierd. More recently, I called and mentioned my HoH Storm Shadow's got 2 left biceps and it really cant be exchanged anywhere. The Hasbro prepaid envelope never arrived. |

I wonder why Hasbro simply can't take the decal sheet from the supposed package they want to send me? I mean, it would save them a lot of work and money (not to mention, save me a lot of work, save me a cardboard box (used to ship back everything), and time wasted from standing on line in the post office).
I guess they really want to spend money and report losses! So what if I was to send everything back, minus the Air Viper? I feel so angry that this all had to happen and the ridiculous "solution" Hasbro has (all this work for one small sheet of decals?). |

This happened to me when I bought my VAMP 'cuz it didn't have Clutch's weapons so I went back to the store and told them about it and they gave me a new one. my suggestion to you is that you ask the store to give you the decals.
