WalMart has Joes for $5. This cannot possibly last past Christmas. They're most likely going back up, at every store.
My question: what's the cut-off point for you? Considering the economy, I really can't see myself still buying movie figures at $8.99. If they bring back 25th style, maybe I'd be more likely to pay $8.99. |

The economy has nothing to do with my spending habits. And $5.00 works for cheap custom fodder, but that's the only use I have for the RoC toys. And being customized by me is one step above being strapped to a bottle rocket and blasted into oblivion.

$6.99 is my cutoff, unless I REALLY need a fix. However, I would happily spend more on the 25th/ME style

I'll take advantage of the 5 dollar price point as long as I can. The local HEB here has them for 5 dollars and get a second free. I use their in store ad at target and walmart.

$5.00 for a figure seems cheap, but you are right the prices are going to go back up.

$5 is what I'm accustomed to. I can live with $6, but $7 and up is pushing it.

my wal-mart still has them at 8.99 but if they drop I will work on filling in holes in my movie line as I stopped buying them after the first wave.. I REALLY hate the packaging and would prefer going back to the 25th style.. they do that and i will buy up everything they put out no matter what the cost

They'll go back up to what they were prior to the $5 inventory clear out price reduction.
$7.50-$8.50 is what the 3 3/4" figure from Hasbro is going for, and the price worked out by Hasbro and the retailer. So that's where they'll go back to. Each person then has to decide if it's too much or not enough. Personally, I don't understand this "if it was 25th/ME I'd gladly pay that" when wouldn't for the same stuff just in different packaging. If I wouldn't pay 8 bucks for a RoC/PoC figure then I wouldn't pay that for 25th/ME figure. My threshold is the $7.99 that they were when the movie came out. That's a decent price, far as I'm concerned. Cheaper would be good, but if goes higher then my spending would drastically cut back and would be extremly picky.
