Ok - so you have the final say on 1 box set for Hasbro to release to the masses.
1.) What figures or vehicles (or combination) do you include in the set? 2.) What is the theme? (Jungle Assault, Attack on Cobra Island, Space) 3.) What special uniform or gear do you give the figures? 4.) What store do you let them be exclusive to - or general release? 5.) What price point? Two ideas came to my mind... Dreadknocks Box Set: 1.) Zaranna, Zandar, Road Pig and Zartan 2.) Classic 25th Anniversary Uniforms and Gear 3.) Each with either a classic style swamp skier or motorcycle (and not the 1/4 size crap that came with Zartan). 4.) General Release - all stores and online. 5.) $19.00 Dress Uniform Joes 1.) Figures Included: Gung-Ho (Marine Dress Uniform), Ace (Air Force Dress Uniform), Shipwreck (Naval Dress Uniform), Lady Jaye (Army Dress Uniform). 2.) 25th Anniverary Styling 3.) Gung-ho w/cover and sabre; 4.) General Release 5.) $12.99 - showin the love for the collector. Last edited by Flint071; 12-11-2009 at 02:01 PM.. Reason: Grammar |

I dig the dreadnoks idea. There are several I would love to see, hard to choose one final set... I would like to see a vehicle wave: Thrasher and Thunder Machine, Asp and blue or white SNAKE armor two pack with Dr. Venom and comic version cobra trooper with head mic/ear phones (this type guy was in the comics alot and in the one where the asps had to keep traversing to aim at the WHALE), HAL with red pads grand slam, and mms and jump launch pad two pack with hawk and flash i guess.

God. I could spend all day doing this.
This is one of my more embarrassing collecting idiosyncracies: Wasting my time thinking up things Hasbro could make. Target Ultimate Battle Pack: Iron Grenadiers (all of these in black, grey, red, gold and khaki-no fuchsia, orange, etc.) DEMON with Ferret AGP with Nullifier Voltar (with extra IG head so multiples can be used as IG Commanders) TARGAT Annihilator Undertow Iron Grenadier (with silver instead of gold to match original Destro) TARGET ULTIMATE BATTLE PACK: GIJOE versus DREADNOKS Thunder Machine with Thrasher Zarana Zandar Dragonfly with Crazylegs Low-Light Footloose Muskrat GIJOE The Movie set #1 (Cobra-La) Golobulus with orb and snake body Pythona 3 Royal Guards GIJOE The Movie set #2 (GIJOE) Falcon with removeable beret Jinx with removeable mask Big Lob Law & Order Mercer VIPER 7-PACK Tele-Viper with gear Techno-Viper SAW Viper Toxo-Viper Night Viper HEAT Viper Frag Viper

This thread is gonna be like crack rock!
1st I would do a Ninja Force pack...Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes, all the rest with a bonus of Kamakura. No vehicles but definately an Arashikage temple/training center...with that I'd have lots of grappling hooks, rope and TONS of silent weapons. The set would errect in away that the figures could repel..or get across from one pillar to another by way of the rope. If I had to do something in a more traditional sense, like the 7 packs? Without a doubt it would be a Cobra Urban Assault. 1 SRO Crimson Guard 2 Night Vipers 3 Alley Vipers 1 Tele-Viper in Alley Viper Camo Set would also include an updated version of The Ferret. Ninja Force would retail for 34.99 Urban Assaualt would retail for 29.99 NF a TRU exclusive UA a internet exclusive |

I like the dress uniform idea. My choice would be an Oktober Guard set. If there can be a vehicle I would add in their 6 wheel vehicle from the comic.

Damn work is boring today ....
Guilty Pleasure Box Set: From the DD Comic Series when Flint and the Baroness are captured by the Yakuza Figures: Flint (civilian attire), Baroness (civilian attire), 2 Yakuza henchmen, 1 Yakuza Crimeboss. Vehicles: 1 BMW Z-3 Convertable 25th Annivesary Styling - with a torture chair with sound byte of Flint singing the Army Fight Song and some implements of torture. Assorted pistols and submachine guns. No one else might buy this one - but I loved the comic book. Exclusive from Hasbro Free of course - since this one is a total pipe-dream. |
