I use a toolbox setup like in the first few posts but its quickly hitting its capacity as accessories I don't use are stacking up.

Most of my collection is loose (on shelves, in vehicles on shelves, and on my desk) but for the majority of accessories and weapons, I have them divided up into 3 ziplock bags in a small crate at the moment. the first bag has the character cards, alphabetized, organized by series, and with an elastic hair tie bundled around them. Also in this bag is any figure stand that goes with a figures currently riding vehicles. The second bag is loose guns, helmets, knives, etc.: nonfunctional but awesome, tiny plastic bits. the last bag is loose missile launchers (mostly from ROC figures) and missiles, including the non-firing ones that snap onto vehicles with the little notch (like the one on the classic rockslide in the "now and then" two pack, since those seem so incredibly prone to falling off). I've been meaning to find a better organization system for years. Its not very elegant but this more or less works pretty well for me.

Ended up getting the Flambeau (tackle) boxes from Wal Mart. They're perfect. 12 Joes fit in each one.

I noticed that airedevon was using comic and magazine storage boxes for MOC figures. I have to admit I never thought of that. I need to get me some more of those.

I've used comic book boxes on carded figures, they actually hold a lot and they're sturdy and stackable. I also use document boxes from Staples for carded Star Wars figures because they fit them better than comic boxes.
For loose figures I've switched to the 15Qt shoe boxes with lockable lids you can get at Walmart or Target for about $4 each. Each figure is bagged with their accessories and then put in the box standing up. It's relatively easy to then look through and pull the figures you need and the bags keep everything together. E... |

I just found these to use. I LOVE THEM!! Perfect for my 25th troop builds of 12 or more figs. Plano Prolatch 2-3700 (4-24). These are under $5.00 retail at the right store. I purchased mine from Manards in IL ($4.85 each). Lowes and sometimes Walmart has them as well. Just a thought.
